At times life seems like an uphill climb
So much to do, so little time
Then there are moments, you wish them away
Looking forward to a new day.
Whatever life brings, cherish it and smile
God has His reasons for every life mile
Sometimes those moments that worry us so
Are the ones we'll look back upon and just know

That was the time God carried us through
We're never alone, He walks along with you.
We may not see Him, but His presence is known
In all of His Glory, and mercies He's shown.

At times life flows along simple and fine
Walking gently, no mountain to climb
These are the times we may forget to pray
Looking back on a fun yesterday.
Whatever life brings, thank God for each one
When you lay day at night and rise with the sun
Sometimes it's easy to forget to give praise
And go about life in our own simple ways

That is the time God should be thanked twice
Not only when troubled, but when things are nice
We may not hear Him, but His voice is a whisper away
In our hearts, in our lives, is where He will stay.

I was just a teen
